• Age above 24 years, but not more than 60 years.
  • Regular earning from a sustainable source of employment or business.


  • Mortgage of the property itself or any other equivalent security, as acceptable to National Housing.

If you are a salaried person:

  • Employment Certificate
  • Latest Salary Slip/Salary Certificate showing all deductions.
  • Bio-Data or C.V.
  • Bank statements for last 12 months.

If you are Self-Employed:

  • Trade License of the business
  • Copies of individual income-tax returns and assessment orders for the last three years along with the statement of income.
  • Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet of your business for last three years. Information on the nature of your business/profession, form of organization, clients, suppliers etc.in writing.
  • Bank statements for last 12 months.

Other Documents:

  • Copies of Ownership Document & Rental Agreement, if you have rental income
  • Copies of Savings Instrument (if any)
  • Similar proof of other income.

Loan Amount

Maximum 70% of the Apartment purchase price. Loan amount depends on your repayment capability. A number of factors such as your monthly net disposable income, age, qualifications, value of the immovable property, number of family members and dependants, monthly expense, other fixed obligations, nature of job/business, savings habit etc. are taken into consideration.

Loan Period

Maximum 20 years depending on your and your co-borrower's age and profession.
